Which THERMAflow boiler is suitable for the size of your property?
You may already know the answer to this, depending on how far on you are in your boiler research:
You are required to measure the total cubic volume of your property.
This will determine the correct kilowatt output of the boiler.
Measure the length x breadth x height in meteres (all rooms to be heated added together) until you have the total meteres squared. Then multiply this figure by 60*. This will give the boiler output required in watts. Divide by 1000 to give KW.
BOILER SIZE = CUBIC VOLUME OF PROPERTY x 60* DIVIDED BY 1000

The Incoming Power Cable & Main Fuse Capacity
The Incoming Power Cable must be in good condition
It requires a main fuse capacity of 60, 80 or 100 Amps
Cold Water Pressure
Check your home has good cold water pressure
The Proposed Boiler Location
This must be of adequate dimensions. Please see our brochure for technical information.
You must also ensure that there is adequate space in front of where the boiler is to be installed to allow future maintenance.
The location must be capable of carrying the weight of the chosen boiler when full if you are planning to fit the TH330 or larger (other than on the ground floor).
You may have to change your power supplier in order to access a suitable off peak tariff to run your boiler. Once you have done this it is vital to ensure that the boiler is programmed to use the maximum amount of cheaper rate electricity available to store cheaper energy for use when you want it.
This will reduce the running costs considerably.

Please make sure that your installer explains the correct operation of the heating system and its controls.
Fuel bills can be reduced substantially by setting the Off-Peak control to make best use of the off peak electricity to heat the water within the boiler automatically when it’s available.
Turning radiator thermostats down or off in rooms that are not being used.
For elderly or infirm people who are at home all day, we suggest only having the radiators on in rooms that are being used.
Linking Solar Thermal or a wood burner with a back boiler to the Thermaflow boiler is another way of substantially reducing fuel costs.
